@Dai_trying Thanks for your reply but for window partition I'm using VirtualBox and it successfully working but problem is that after successfully running boot menu is showing black because of iso image I think I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what. Any additional tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Well, I don't know your Linux history, which would play a role in any advice I likely give, but as a rule start off with something simple that is most likely to get you a good result, and in case you didn't guess I would say try the Debian live image, it should work in a VM the same as it would on bare metal. If it goes ok then try installing it (from the live session) and see how that goes.

After that you should play around with the system and get used to it a little, I am making the assumption (I know I shouldn't but have no other info to go on) that as you are using windows as your host you are not really familiar with Linux, and so testing it out (in your newly created vm 8) ) should really be your first task.

Next I would say "test, test, and test once again" until you are more familiar and then create a new VM and use the net-install image to get another instance set up. Once this works and you understand the installation routine and questions you are likely to be asked during install you could then try another distro to get an idea of the differences.

Many (maybe most?) distro's have a similar installation as the base systems are pretty much the same really, it's mostly the extras you add that make it different.

Bear in mind Kali linux (the distro you showed initial interest in) is (or was when I last looked into it) designed to run from a USB drive and so not necessarily optimised for a "normal" installation, of course it is possible but I just wanted to mention that.

Please note this is just general advice I would give to anyone starting out with Linux and not specific to anything.

I wish you well in your endeavours and of course post in the forum if you have any questions (new posts for new questions please) as there are many users way more knowledgeable than I who can (and do) answer pretty much anything.
