I'm glad you sorted it out.I focused on the passphrase messages and found some posts talking about parsing the passphrase. Some of them (eg. here) suggested to add the argument "askpass <file>" to the config file of the server. One hast to put the passphrase in a text file, protect it with "chmod 400 <file>" and add "askpass file.txt" to the server configuration file. It worked for me. The service now loads correctly, the openvpn tunnel appears (when check with "ip a") and if I restart the pc it automatically loads well. I checked that I can connect from the client.
