Again, thank you for trying to help. @dilberts_left_nut Just for the fun, can you tell me what is the meaning of -s after full-upgrade? I did not see it in the man page. I did not know full-upgrade, for sure I will try it in the future.

The --simulate or -s switch does just that gives you a simulation of what the command you are about to use will do without it being there. Comes in really hand when doing this stuff as it can prevent a disaster from happening if the wrong packages are to get removed and you did not have time to see it was going to happen.

Edit: The full-upgrade is the new replacment for dist-upgrade (distribution upgrade) the old command that was use when switching to the newer version (upgrading) from an older version.

Edit2: Now I think of it only to be used going a single version at a time like you did the 11 to 12, 10 to 12 is totally unsupported.
