System and Network configuration • Bookworm "Point Release Number" - How to fetch it.

For anyone struggling to display their currently installed Debian "point" release for version 12 (Bookworm),
this will do it...

Open a terminal,
cat /etc/debian_version
12.7

(I just installed version 12.7 upgrade today 2024-08-31).
