Apart from Grub and kernel updates it should not be a problem right? It would help in hardening the system. It would not impact adversely the day-to-day working of the system?
Further the frequency with which Debian pushes out kernel updates this happens only once a quarter or so at the max. Typically it is 2-3 kernel updates in a year. Grub, well once it is set does not change much.
