The file will exist if you download the package and use ar -x file.deb to extract the package you get it from the data.tar.gz. Then you can copy it to the location you want/need once the extractions are done. As you can see below the file is shown in the directory it would have been installed into in the verbose extraction output of the data.Hi,
the problem with not installing the i386 cups2 is, I cannot access the printers ppd file in the cups folder /usr/share/cups/model/ the file only exists if I install the 32bit version :/
right now I'm struggeling a bit getting the printer to work ...the printer is attached to a usb-printserver because it has no own network ability... I try to find out the right queue name when adding the printserver as lpd/lpr network printer
If you know any trick to not use the 32bit cups let me know...
after all I think I only need to find the right queue name for the printer to print a testpage...
